Are you enthusiastic about our Branch's mission and role within Stony Plain? Are you skilled at bringing people together? The Branch Executive is looking for an energetic, organized member to step into this new role to act as the Branch’s Volunteer Coordinator and help us maximize our greatest resource, our volunteers. This position is not part of Executive Committee, but you will report to the President or designate.

Utilizing your people skills, you will:

• help the Branch revitalize its volunteers by recruiting, inspiring, and managing our dedicated volunteer base, encouraging both new and long-standing members to find fulfilling roles within the Branch, and keep our volunteers motivated and engaged,
• help power our events by ensuring all our key Fundraising and Service Events are fully supported by the right people in the right places, 
• work alongside Committee Chairs to ensure every volunteer feels respected, valued, and acknowledged for their essential contributions,
• act as the central point of communication, matching volunteers to tasks based on their interests, skills, and abilities by providing clear information on schedules, roles, and 
• celebrate our success by helping to organize recognition and appreciation events for our volunteers.
